Ruby Bridges

Ruby bridges is a a woman who changed the world. She grew up in the 1960s. She was one of the first black kids to go to an all white school. She was taught in a room alone, just her and the teacher. She didnt mind at first but than she started wondering why she couldnt be with everyone else. Ruby started volunteer work at the William Frantz School. She helped strengthen the school by making the Ruby Bridges Foundation. She travels to schools to explain how important reading, power of education, and integration of races.
