missing cat

The article i read was about a cat named Willow from colorado than ran away 5 years ago and they found him the other day in Manhattan. Workers at a pet shelter found a microchip in Willows neck and they scanned it and figured out that he was from a family in Colorado. The cat was in very good condition so obviously someone was taking care of him. My reaction to this article is im glad they found the cat so he can return to the right family. I also dont know why the people who found him kept him for 5 years and never brought him in the find the right owners. This article is unusualness and timeliness.
